There is increasingly high demand for additional S/MIME Smartcards. Kleopatra currently only supports Netkey cards. Other cards are ignored.
So even if GnuPG might support a standard compliant card the user interface offers no option for example to learn the keys from a smartcard.
The task is to get example cards, test what gpgsm already supports and what is needed to use them in Kleopatra and GpgOL without using the command line.
